Someone wise told me “If you don’t know what to do, do nothing.” That was one of the best advice I ever gotten from anyone.
Especially when you have with you too many opinions on what should have been done, or you overthink or you are really just trying your best to manage a situation without hurting anyone and it’s driving you crazy. A lot of emotions are involved, the fear, the insecurities, the imagined worst outcome… What can you do? What is the best way moving forward?
Well, the best way moving forward temporarily is to do nothing. It’s simple. It’s do-able. And it will help you take the both imagined and the real pressure off you. At least for awhile until you make enough head space to come back to the situation again when you are ready to do so.
